Playa El Barranquilla is a compact beach in Central Puerto del Carmen just off the main beach road. Rugged feel with dark sand and some rocks either side of water entry point.

Getting there

The beach is located centrally in Puerto del Carmen along the main beach road. Parking available on beach road or on adjacent roads. Can get to the beach via car, walking, cycling, taxi or bus.

About Playa El Barranquilla

Small beach with narrow sandy access to sea. Rugged and natural feel with darker sand than neighboring beaches.

Found via steepish path from the beach front promenade.

More wild and natural feel than Playa de los Pocillos just north. Rocks and other features either side of sandy water access.

Lots of facilities just across the main beach road.

Summary

Huge beach with lots of room and sunbeds. Large area of sand with all the amenities you could need close by.
