Playa Grande in Puerto del Carmen is the best known and most popular beach in this touristic town.

There are many good reasons this beach remains frequented by so many people on their holidays.

The location of Playa Grande is very central to the rest of the town so is easy to get to.

The quality of the sand and water is great, golden yellow sand and clear water with sandy bottom sea. If you want to spend the day in comfort with sunbeds and parasols there are plenty of those available. You can enter and leave the water at any part of the beach without any worries of rocks or obstacle.

For the children there is an inflatable water park 30 meters off shore for climbing on and jumping off. Paddle boats hire, canoes and other water craft can be hired by the hour from the beach.

For food, drink and general supplies there are many options lined up along the beach road.
