Introduction to Playa del Jablillo

Playa del Jablillo is a beautiful and very safe clear water beach in heart of Costa Teguise. Small cove like bay with shallow rocks in the bay mouth to stop currents and larger waves entering.

Location of Jablillo beach

The beach is located in the centre of town. There is parking at different car parks and locations all around the beach. From parking places to the beach itself is a minute or two walk to get onto the sand.

Playa del Jablillo is safe and beautiful with blue crystal clear waters. The mouth of this small cove like bay has had rocks placed across that do not show at high tide. These rocks work very well at stopping waves and dangerous currents from entering the bay.

This is a fantastic beach for safe family fun. There is lovely golden sand sun bath on. The water is calm and clear for the whole family to relax and have fun. Playa Jablillo is good for swimming, snorkelling and just taking it easy whilst soaking up the view.

The distance across the calm watered bay is around 250 meters making it large enough to enjoy but not so large that anyone can feel too far out or lost.
This stretch of water is also very good for more serious swimmers to get in a few training laps.

On windy days the Northern end of the beach is well sheltered from the wind. Three is easy access either down steps or along a ramp.
Entrance to the water at this end of Playa del Jablillo is over rocks or via a narrow sandy stretch.
