Overview of  Playa de la Concha

Playa de la Concha is a nice and very quiet beach located between Arrecife and Playa Honda. Clear water and easy access to the sea with parking close by.

Getting there:

To get to Playa de la Concha you need to traverse a couple of back roads in Playa Honda. Take the Playa Honda turn off from the LZ2 then follow the route on the map.
At the end of the route you enter into a un paved car park. Access to the sea is via the coastal path then walk down to the waters edge. You will need a car to get to the beach and to drive to the nearby facilities.

About Playa de la Concha

Playa de la Concha is perfect for a quiet family day at the beach. Dark golden sand and easy access to the sea.
This is a nice quiet beach that is central but almost never crowded. Swimming at Playa de la Concha beach is generally safe with no dangerous rips or currents. The wind can blow from the land to the sea so be careful if using inflatables in case of getting blown out to sea.
Located on the Northern edge of Playa Honda often with a small lagoon just inland.
Close by are many shops, bars and restaurants mainly used by the local residents of Playa Honda.

Local Facilities

Playa de la Concha beach has the fantastic beach front promenade running past it. This promenade runs from Arrecife to Puerto del Carmen. Along the promenade are many great beach front bars and restaurants to take a well earned rest.

Playa de la Concha has easy access and good parking. The beach is quiet and safe with lots of bars and shops within a few minutes drive.
