Playa de Montana is a quiet beach towards in the East of Playa Blanca. At the North edge of the beach is a large sandy area broken up the sheltering wall and sun beds with parasols. There are usually not many other beach goers so is a nice peaceful place to spend the day. The parasols give good shelter from the sun when necessary.
Water access is not available on the full length of the beach due to rocks. There are several locations along the beach where the sand leads into the sea, take care of small rocks below the surface.
Swimming and snorkelling at Playa de Montana Roja can be good but take care of waves and currents especially in Winter.
Just next to the beach is a Chiringuito or Beach bar that sell snacks, meals and drinks.
Playa de Montana is a quiet beach with good facilities with a rugged feel.
If you want to get away from the other busy Playa Blanca beaches this is the place to come. Good sunbathing, sun shelters and sea access
