Overview of Playa Flamingo

Playa Flamingo is a great family beach towards the Western end of Playa Blanca.
The beach has great golden sand and is sheltered by two sea walls keeping waves and currents out.

Getting there

Playa Flamingo is accessed along the Playa Blanca coastal promenade or via the Playa Flamingo tourist complex.
Park you car on the main road outside the Playa Flamingo tourist complex then walk to the beach.

About Playa Flamingo

Playa Flamingo is a family friendly beach. The calm waters and clear blue seas make it a good location for swimming and snorkelling.
The sand is good quality light and golden. The beach is around 300 meters wide.
Even on windy days the bay offers good shelter.
On the main part of the beach and out to sea there are no rocks making water entry safe and easy.

Running adjacent to the beach is the Playa Blanca coastal promenade. The Playa Flamingo part of the promenade has a super market and several nice snack bars, bars, and restaurants ideal for lunches.

The Playa Flamingo holiday complex offers great beach front accommodation perfect for singles, couples and families.

Other beach facilities include showers, kids recreation area, sun beds and parasols.
