The market is located near the quayside in the centre of Puerto Calero.
Driving
Take the LZ2 South and turn off at the Yaiza Institute roundabout
Follow the road toward the coast and turn right at the second roundabout.
There are plenty of place to park your car in Puerto Calero plus parking is free.
As you drive down the hill and into the actual marina area of Puerto Calero you pass an open car barrier. Just after the barrier you can turn left to the closest parking to the market or follow the road on and round to the right for another large parking area.
The stalls in the market are all run by private individuals. There is a lot of variety from stall to stall and seller to seller. The marketeers sell a great variety of products including arts, crafts, clothes, jewellery, leather goods, accessories and so on. This is not a farmers or food market. Adjacent to the market is a nice array of bars and restaurants if all that shopping has made you hungry or thirsty.
The Puerto Calero Market runs every Tuesday and Friday.
The market is set in a beautiful marina location.
You can shop around for some bargains, enjoy the marina ambience then find a quayside restaurant and have a great lunch or a few drinks.
Went to the Puerto Calero Market yesterday, Tuesday.
Was a nice market in a great location.
We perused the market, looked at all the lovely yachts then had a great lunch.
made a nice morning out.
We found this market on the lanzaroteholidayplanner website and thought it was worth a look.
Took all the family and everyone had a good time. Whilst I did some shopping the kids checked out the boats and fish all supervised by dad
Then a nice quayside lunch after. Fully recommended
