This beautiful historic town is a great location for a market.
The market itself is set in the large plaza called ‘Parque la Mareta’. Market stalls are laid out in this plaza selling all kinds of wares. There are enough stalls to keep you occupied for many hours. The range of things to buy and see will keep the whole family interested and amused.
The market is not the only attraction in Teguise. There are lots of other great shops, bars and restaurants to visit as well.
On the Plaza de Constitution is the historic church of Teguise with its imposing clock tower striking time on the hour every hour. This impressive church is called ‘church of our lady of Guadalupe’.
Around the same Plaza are several nice restaurants and shops.
Large market selling everything.
